Childish Gambino postpones 'This is America Tour' due to foot injury
PHOENIX, (KSAZ) - Donald Glover, also known as rapper Childish Gambino, has postponed the rest of his 'This is America Tour' due to a foot injury.
"Under doctors' orders, Childish Gambino has postponed his remaining 'This is America Tour' dates until later this year," the rapper's management group Wolf + Rothstein said in a statement.
Fam Rothstein, co-principal of Wolf + Rothstein, took to twitter to assure fans shows weren't canceled.
The rapper injured his foot during a concert in Dallas on Sunday.
Glover was scheduled to perform in Phoenix on October 5 at the Gila River Arena, but according to the new tour dates sent out by the rapper's management group, the show will now be on December 15.
The statement explains tickets will be honored for the newly rescheduled dates. Glover's shows in Seattle and at Austin City Limits have been canceled. His performance at Voodoo Music + Arts Experience in New Orleans will go on as planned.
Glover announced at the beginning of the tour this would be his last as Childish Gambino.
